Blog: Mt. Wood Overlook Group Photo Shoot Part 1

So first a little back story about what the Mt. Wood Overlook is! It is an unfinished house that looks like a castle. A man was building for his wife in Wheeling, WV, but she passed away before he finished it, so it never was finished. Now it's covered in graffiti and open to the public. There's a beautiful view of Wheeling from the top!

Every time I've been there, the graffiti is different

My next post will be some of the pictures I took of people, then a post of pictures others took of me (once I get more of them XD)

Food: Phoenix Bakery, Morgantown WV

I think I'm going to start doing separate food posts and add a tag for restaurants, kind of like reviews! I'll still post about food in my more broad blog posts about my day or week or when I travel, but for some restaurants that I really like, I think I'll do this.  Hopefully it will help people find the good places I like to eat at and bring them more business XD Plus, it'll be my little place to keep track of these restaurants, no matter where I go. This is my last chance to hit up all of my favorite places in Morgantown! When I live in Japan, I can go to my favorite places I ate at before, and find new ones and share them with you guys too. I'll include links and pictures of my food, and possibly the other people I go with's food, a picture of the place, and whatever else.

So I'll start with this one! It used to be called the New Day Bakery, and now it's called the Phoenix Bakery in South Park in Morgantown, WV.  They have amazing pizza, but you can only get it on weekends. Every day they have different stuffed ciabatta.

I got the mozzarella and pepperoni stuffed ciabatta! Basically a giant pepperoni roll

Blog: Pokemon Go!

Originally I didn't particularly plan to get the game, since my past Pokemoning was just watching my cousin play when I was little, and I'm not much of a gamer, I get frustrated and give up too easily, so watching someone else play is the best!  But, after seeing my friends play and learning that you have to go outside to actually chase the Pokemon, and walk to level up and hatch eggs (I've been trying really hard to exercise more) and find Pokestops to get items, I figured I would give it a try! I love it!!! Though it's still super buggy which gets to be really annoying...but I've run into friends while playing, made a few new acquaintances, and I've been walking a lot more everyday! So I've been enjoying my ride on this bandwagon so far XD

Here's just a few fun screenshots I took!

My best Pokemon so far <3
WVU's campus is a goldmine!
My favorite cafe is a Pokestop!

From the one time I briefly owned a gym...
And then here are just cute screenshots of Pokemon I took

I'm sooo excited for the future of this game! I rarely get so excited for games. I have motivation to exercise and be healthy already from watching Taylor R's videos, and from my own dream of modeling in Japan possibly becoming a reality soon. But it's always been really hard for me to STAY motivated to do anything, even the things I enjoy or want so badly to achieve. This game is just enough extra motivation I think to keep exercising by walking!

This game is actually the reason I haven't been blogging so much lately though X( It's good because I've been going outside and working on one of my big goals for this summer (losing weight, lost 3 pounds so far!) but blogging often was also a goal, so I gotta get to work on that!

Here are some really pretty pictures I took while Pokehunting the other day

Look at all of the people hanging around the Pokestops in Morgantown!

Takeru had to wait for the Japan release (yesterday) of Pokemon even though he's in the US because they just released it for his kind of phone on the same day XD Yay Pokemon hunting dates!! <3

Review: Victoria's Secret Lip Gloss in Lemonshine and Hydrating Body Lotion in Rose

Yaaaayyyyy Victoria's Secret sales!! XD One of my favorite things about the end of the Christmas and summer seasons is the super amazing Victoria's Secret sales!

Anyway, first is the lip gloss! It's just a typical lip gloss, like the ones everyone loved in middle/high school. It's a bit sticky and thick, and I haven't really been into lip gloss for years, but it smells and tastes just like a lemon pound cake! I like it when I'm craving sweets, but don't want to actually eat them XD I like that it looks bright yellow and has lots of gold glitter, but the color doesn't show up on lips. Just clear, sweet flavored sparkles. Also, I love the cute little key chain, and it was on sale for only $2! (originally $12)

Then, I saw this lotion a few months ago when I was window shopping at Victoria's Secret from this I guess, fairly new line of theirs called Hydrating Body Lotion Cotton Moisture Complex.  I think they used to use this cotton complex formula thing with their Pink lotions, then they quit doing it, and I think cutting that ingredient changed it, so I didn't really like it as much anymore. I was super excited to see that they brought it back! I like lotions for more than just smell; I want them to make my skin feel nice, and this stuff definitely does that! The only one in this line that is on sale is the rose scent (which was my favorite and the one I've been wanting to get) but that's because it's being discontinued. Luckily it always takes me forever to get through a bottle of lotion XD If I didn't really need to save money now, I would have gotten two. The only other amazing lotion I've ever found and loved was from Laline. Anyway, it's originally $18, but was on sale for 75% off and ended up being only $4.20!
